Affordable and Quality Dental Care

We were looking for a good dental clinic for my 7-year-old daughter. After searching for the best clinics near Medavakkam, we discovered Smile Squad Dental Clinic through Google. Based on the positive reviews, we decided to consult them. Dr. Brinda thoroughly explained my daughter's dental condition and what needed to be done to fix it. She also arranged for a pedodontist consultation, who further explained the treatment plan in detail. This gave us full confidence to proceed with the treatment.
Dr. Brinda suggested two options:
Option 1 : Fix one tooth at a time during each sitting. This treatment would be done at Smile Squad Dental Clinic, but it requires the child’s cooperation. If parents feel their child can cooperate, this is a good option. However, in my case, my daughter is very sensitive and might not tolerate even mild pain, so we opted for Option 2.
Option 2 : Fix all the teeth in one sitting under general anesthesia.
We were still worried about how she would bear the procedure. The dental surgery took place on 4th March 2025 at 5:30 AM and lasted for 2 hours. She was discharged the same day around 10:30 AM. Despite our concerns, she is now doing very well, experiencing only mild pain. Medications were prescribed for 5 days. To our relief, she has been recovering well and is playing as usual.

We now understand the importance of not neglecting dental problems. It has also made us more aware of how to maintain oral health and how sensitive dental issues can be if left untreated.
Points to Note:
Before the treatment, scans and blood tests are necessary to ensure the child is fit for surgery under general anesthesia:
1. Dental Scanning (Full Mouth)
2. Blood Tests
Once the reports are ready, you need to consult with the anesthetist. After the anesthetist confirms the child is fit for surgery, you can proceed. All consultations and coordination were handled efficiently by the Smile Squad Dental Clinic team. Many thanks to everyone involved.
Only Concern:
It would be helpful if the prescribed medicines or syrups were provided at the time of discharge. Obtaining the exact prescribed medication was a bit difficult for me. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. Thank you.
